WINDSOR UMC MUSIC MINISTRY The Living Waters Praise Band is a contemporary praise and worship
team that provides music and leads the congregational singing during
Windsor's contemporary service each week. The group
combines vocals and instrumentals to add spirit and depth to the worship
experience. Membership in the Living Waters Praise Band is open to
anyone who wishes to be a part of the ensemble. No audition is necessary,
and you do not need to have musical training to be a member. During
the school year, rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in the choir
room at 8:30 pm. The group also meets 30 minutes before the 8:30 am
service to rehearse and warm up. For summer schedule please contact

Windsor UMC's Chancel Choir provides music and leads
the congregational singing for the traditional service each week. As
well as offering a choral anthem during the weekly services, the Chancel
Choir presents special musical programs at Christmas, Easter, Independence
Day and Rally Day each year. Membership in the Chancel Choir is open
to everyone and no audition is necessary. You do not need to have any
musical training to participate. August to May, the choir rehearses
on Wednesday evenings in the Sanctuary from 7:15-8:30 pm. During the
summer, the choir meets every other Wednesday from 7:15-8:30 pm. For

The Voices of Faith Youth Choir is an ensemble for youth in Middle
and High School. Voices of Faith uses both music and skits and helps
to encourage the youth to expand their creative skills. It also helps
to make them aware that they are a vital part of the ministry of
the church. Voices of Faith sing at the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship
services every 6 weeks. Once membership increases, this ensemble
will tour for a week each summer. Membership is open to all youth
in Middle and High School. No audition in necessary and no musical
or acting skills are required. During the school year, Voices of
Faith meets on Sunday afternoons from 5:15-6:00 pm in the choir room.
This ensemble does not meet in the summer.
Mercy and Grace Singers is a children's choir for
kids in 1st to 5th grades. Mercy and Grace Singers sing at the 11:00
am service once every 6 weeks. During the school year, Mercy and Grace
Singers meets on Sunday afternoons from 6:00 to 6:45 pm in the choir
room. Membership is open to all eligible kids and no audition is necessary.
This ensemble does not meet during the summer.
Harmony tone chimes, is a musical ensemble for youth in Middle and
High School. The tone chimes ring at the 11:00 am service once every
6 weeks. During the school year, Harmony tone chimes meets on Sunday
afternoon from 4:30-5:15 in the choir room. No audition is necessary
to be involved. Harmony does not meet during the summer.
Windsor UMC's Jr. Praise Team is an ensemble led
by Kathy Hart that meets during the children's church
time at the 8:30 contemporary service. The Jr. Praise Team is for kids
in the 1st to 5th grade. The Jr. Praise Team sings each week during
the school year. Membership is open to all eligible children and no
audition is required. Contact Kathy Hart for more information.
The Key Changes Handbell Choir, led by Walt Speas has been using music
to minister the Windsor family for over 10 years. From August to
May, the ensemble meets on Monday evenings at 7 pm in the choir room.
The group does not meet during the summer. The Handbells perform
at the 11:00 am service monthly during the school year. For more

Kathryn L. Seppamaki has been Minister of Music at Windsor since May
of 2002. Miss Seppamaki holds a Bachelor and a Master's
degree in Music from the University of South Carolina where she is
a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, the music honor society. She is also
a member of the South Carolina Opera Company where she made her professional
debut in 1998.
She has also had a busy solo career, performing with such ensembles
as USC's Concert Choir, University Chorus, and Columbia Choral Society.
Ms. Seppamaki is a Contemporary Christian artist, having spent three
years as the lead female singer of the band Praise Connection and has
been featured on two Christian albums. She was also previously, the
assistant director of music at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Irmo.
At Windsor, Miss Seppamaki directs the Chancel Choir, Voices of Faith
Youth Choir, Mercy and Grace Singers, and Harmony Tone Chimes. She
also leads the Living Waters Praise Band and is the Worship service
coordinator for the 8:30 am service.
