What about my children during worship?
The children join us during the beginning of worship time as we gather, greet and sing. Prior to the sermon, they are invited to the front of the church for "Time for Children", a mini-sermon just for them. Then we invite them to enjoy their own Children's Church held in our educational wing. This allows children and adults to enjoy their own worship time.
Do you have Sunday School classes for children and adults?
At 9:45 am each Sunday, we have Sunday School classes for youth and adults. You will be welcomed in these classes.
Do you have evening services?
We have activities for middle and high school students on Sunday evenings. The youth meet at 6:00 pm beginning with a meal and fellowship.
How should I dress for church?
Our attire at worship is relaxed. The contemporary service is the more casual service with jeans and casual slacks being the norm. The traditional service attire will mainly consist of casual slacks but you may see some folks in suits or dresses. Be comfortable; be yourself. We care about you, not what you wear.
Where do I park?
We have two parking lots, one in the front of the church and the other in the rear. You may enter the front lot from Windsor Lake Blvd. and enter the rear parking lot from Alpine Road.
Windsor UMC is located in northeast Columbia at the intersection of Windsor Lake Blvd. and Alpine Road. We are directly across the street from E.L. Wright Middle School.
